Need a change?

Recognising that you want or need to change the way you are going through life is the first step. If things seem like they are not serving you well, you're not enjoying how each day plays out, or you just don't have enough time to do the things you love, then the only way to change that is to start with your mindset.

Take out a pen and paper and ask yourself a few home truths! What do you want to do? What does an ideal day in your life look like? What's one small change you can make to get a step closer to achieving that?

Sometimes it's the little things we make time for each day that really change the way we enjoy our daily activities and tasks. Perhaps just changing your perception of certain situations could help you to see things in a new light?

For me, I love to start my day with some movement and breath work and on days when I don't make time for it, I get a little cranky. When I make it a priority and get up early to make sure I start my day in a way that makes me feel good, the rest of my day usually flows better. It gets my head in the right frame of mind and I am more productive. I find that once I have energised my body, I am much more content to sit and work. I'm not agitated and my mind is clearer. I'm also a bit of a list maker so taking time each evening to write out a schedule for the following day really helps me to stay on track and makes me use my time more efficiently. I make sure I schedule in time to do all the things I need to get done as well as some time for the things I want to do. Scheduling in time to do the things you want to do or just scheduling in time to do nothing is a fantastic way to start creating a life you love. It may not be hours of lounging by the pool, but perhaps you can start with 15 mins. It's time to let go of expectation. Let go of judgement. Be completely and utterly comfortable being YOU!

How often do you find yourself doing things because you think you have to?

Where did these expectations come from?

Why do we feel pressured to always be doing something even if we don't really want to, or don't really need to?

It's time to start living life on your own terms. Shifting out of overwhelm, letting go of those habitual things that are taking up all your time and start making space in your life for the things you love.

Know that you do enough.

Know that you are enough.

Live for today.

Life is too short, so stop waiting for tomorrow and get started now.

Wishing you all a lifetime of happiness and good health, Kirstie xx
