In this class we will stretch and release the spine through all ranges of movement: flexion, extension, lateral flexion and rotation; to help relieve pain and discomfort in the back.
Yin Yoga is designed to work the deeper layers of the body to increase flexibility and mobility in the body, particularly the hips and shoulders. Poses are held for 2-7 minutes each to allow us to work into the connective tissues and fascia around our musculature. Finding stillness in the body will allow time for introspection, relaxation and stress relief. Suitable for all levels.
